Yoroi Wallet to end support of Ergo token
Yoroi, a light wallet for Cardano & Ergo, has just announced that it will stop supporting Ergo ($ERG) Token. Yoroi is developed by Emurgo, the official commercial arm and a founding entity of the Cardano blockchain.The sunsetting of Ergo will take place in the coming months, according to a tweet of their team on 6th of January (2023). They stated that this change is part of their ongoing efforts to improve & update their wallet for a growing Cardano ecosystem. $ADA holders would not be impacted by the change, however $ERG holders should migrate to a new Ergo compatible wallet.
$ERG token is the native token of Ergo Platform, a smart-contracts blockchain which is based on Proof-of-Work consensus mechanism.
